Cowles 16th Annual Conference on General Equilibrium and its Applications

April 22-24, 2022

The 16th Annual Cowles Conference on General Equilibrium and its Applications will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 22-24, 2022. We will begin on Friday afternoon and conclude on Sunday at noon.

This year's conference shall also be the occasion to celebrate the 65th birthday of John Geanakoplos.

The Program Committee welcome submissions of theoretical or applied papers addressing issues
including (but not limited to): financial markets (financial innovation, securitization, financial crises,
collateral, liquidity, asset pricing), macroeconomics, general equilibrium, monetary and fiscal policy;
market and security design; and computational methods.

We intend to hear mostly from the younger generations, and if you have any suggestions for speakers (from any generation) or papers, please let us know. We will send a final schedule of speakers as it becomes available.

Registration: Registration details about the conference to follow.

Funding: Cowles shall have funds to cover many ground and air expenses (economy class) as well as
hotel accommodations. Funding priority shall be given to speakers and younger scholars.
