Job Description & Qualification

Erasmus School of Economics (ESE) invites applications for a postdoc position in all areas of Finance. The starting date is negotiable but would typically be September 2021 and should be no later than January 2022.

Applicants are expected to demonstrate excellence in research and either have a Ph.D. or expect to complete a Ph.D. in the near future. We are looking for candidates who have the potential to publish in the top finance or economics journals. The contract will be for a period of two years. The teaching load is relatively low. We offer a compensation package that is competitive relative to salaries of European universities. In addition, non-Dutch applicants are usually granted a favorable tax status that exempts 30% of annual income from taxes and social security contributions.
