Job Description & Qualification

The Department of Finance in the Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business, Saint Louis University is seeking applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning in the Fall of 2022. Saint Louis University is a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care and service. Candidates are sought in all areas of Finance, but we are particularly interested in candidates who possess the ability to conduct high quality research and excellent teaching in:
• Financial Technology (FinTech);
• Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence in finance context;
• Advanced econometric/data analytics skills, including non-quantitative data and alternative data.
The successful candidate should expect to have the interest to conduct and publish high quality research; teach both undergraduate and graduate level courses using traditional, hybrid, hyflex, and online delivery methods; and make positive contributions to the department, school and university assignments. Candidates should have all requirements for a Ph.D. in Finance completed prior to August 15, 2022.
