Assistant/Associate Professor/Junior Chair in Finance

The Finance Department of the ESSEC Business School is opening tenure track positions for research professors at the assistant/associate level in its Paris (Cergy) campus.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: The Department invites applications from candidates in all fields. Tenure track candidates are expected to complete their Ph.D. at the latest in September 2022 and should exhibit potential for excellence in research. They are offered reduced teaching load during the tenure clock over six years.

CHAIR OF EXCELLENCE IN THE FINANCING OF INNOVATION. At the Associate level, one of the positions is linked to a Chair for a duration of 3 years. The Chair’s focus will be the production of impactful and high-quality academic publications on theoretical and empirical aspects of the financing of innovation, as well as helping to consolidate and develop the reputation and expertise of the research team at ESSEC. The position is open to professors currently at the associate level and to assistant professors with experience.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL: ESSEC is a French "Grande Ecole" with campuses in the Paris metropolitan area and in Singapore. ESSEC offers graduate level training in finance and business administration and was the first AACSB accredited business school outside the United States and Canada. Courses are taught in English. More information on ESSEC can be found at http://www.essec.edu. The Finance Department has a total of 19 permanent faculty members in Paris and Singapore and is strongly dedicated to research. It offers courses at all levels (undergraduate, master and Ph.D.).
