Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Finance:
An assistant professorship is a tenure track position for six years. Candidates in all areas of finance will be given serious consideration. The position offers ample opportunities to do research and carries a light teaching load. After five years a tenure decision will be made.
An assistant professor is appointed at the Department of Finance at the Tilburg School of Economics and Management (TISEM). The Finance Department has been consistently among the top 5 in European research rankings (based on top 3 international publications in the field) over the past 20 years.
Tilburg offers competitive European salaries and researchers from outside the Netherlands can apply for a 5 years tax-free allowance equal to 30% of their taxable salary. The university also offers a generous pension scheme. The Department of Finance provides assistance in finding suitable accommodation and in other relevant relocation issues.
