Job Description & Qualification

The School of Business and Economics at Universidad de los Andes ( invites applications for one position in Finance at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. Knowledge of Spanish is not required; instruction can be in English. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or be close to completion. Successful candidates should have an outstanding research record or potential. The appointment is expected to begin in July, 2022.

Interviews will be conducted virtually via zoom, starting Wednesday, January 6th, 2022.

About the Organization

The School of Business and Economics fosters high-quality research within Economics, Finance, and Business Administration. Our group conducts research on a variety of topics, including corporate finance, asset pricing, industrial organization, strategy, micro theory, trade, macroeconomics, labor, and education. Our faculty has published in leading journals such as The Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, The Journal of Political Economy, Econometrica, American Economic Review, Journal of Economic Theory, among others.
